Vice President, Housing, Community Development, and Infrastructure (HCDI)
Mike Gaskins is Tidal Basin’s Vice President of Housing, Community Development, and Infrastructure (HCDI). He oversees a dynamic and growing team of housing, community development, and infrastructure program management and technical specialists. He has over 15 years of experience working in Community Development Block Grant Disaster Recovery Programs.
Before joining Tidal Basin, Mike served in business development, operations, and program management roles at other leading industry consulting firms. Throughout Mike’s career, he has served in several key housing and community development program leadership roles, including:
- Program Director of Restore Louisiana’s Non-Federal Cost Share Match Program and Construction Management Program
- Senior Operations Manager for Rebuild Florida
- Deputy Program Manager for Rebuild North Carolina
- Special Projects Manager on Louisiana’s Homeowner Assistance Program (HAP)
- Subject Matter Expert on appraisals, closings, and titles for Louisiana’s The Road Home program
Prior to his career in the disaster management industry, Mike established his mortgage brokerage firm, and he oversaw a subprime division for an established lender.
Serving in these roles has given Mike the valuable experience to lead effective housing and community development programs for our clients.
