Peter Cavadini is the Senior Director and Long-Term Recovery & Program Management Team Lead for Michael Baker International’s MER3 (Mitigation, Environmental, Response, Recovery & Resiliency) business vertical, which unites Tidal Basin Group, MLU Services, and Michael Baker’s EMR (Emergency Management & Response) team. He has over 12 years of experience as a disaster housing recovery expert specializing in long-term recovery, and he has experience in disaster preparedness, response, and recovery, including fieldwork across the U.S. and internationally in Dominica, Ecuador, Malawi, and Nepal.
Prior to joining Tidal Basin in 2021, Peter was the Chief of Staff at New York Disaster Interfaith Services. The majority of his professional experience is in developing and leading pilot programs. He has 4 years of executive experience and 8 years of program management experience. Peter directed a portfolio of diverse programs across continents and at different phases of the disaster life cycle, while negotiating contracts and developing new programs.
Peter received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Notre Dame.
