
Edward “Ted” Saroney serves as Assistant Vice President and Corporate Controller for Rising Phoenix, Tidal Basin, and affiliates. Ted brings over 25 years of leadership and a diverse background and experience from various roles in the private and public accounting profession. In this role, Ted is responsible for the Corporate financial reporting along with the direct oversight, development, and best practices of key financial functions throughout the organization.
Prior to joining Rising Phoenix/Tidal Basin, he served as the Corporate Controller for a Top 200 law firm and a real estate development company with retail, commercial and hospitality projects located throughout the United States and Canada. He has gained valuable insight into the financial and economic needs of businesses to be a true leader in his field.
Ted earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree with emphasis in Accounting from the University of Nevada Las Vegas. He has been a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in the State of New York since 2002 and holds certifications as a Personal Financial Specialist (PFS) and Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE). He is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE).
Ted lives in Syracuse, New York with his wife and two children. He enjoys fishing, skiing and is an avid collector of sports memorabilia.
