Tidal Basin’s CEO, Daniel Craig, penned an insightful op-ed in The Hill, marking FEMA’s 45th anniversary. The op-ed shares his experiences working with the agency and outlines the critical challenges it faces going forward. It highlights FEMA’s journey from a standalone agency to part of the Department of Homeland Security, its significant role in improving intergovernmental coordination, and the transformation of emergency management post-September 11.
