On Saturday, September 30th, Tidal Basin team members, Heather Stickler, Cynthia Gutierrez-White, and Melissa Gordon, along with their spouses, children, and fur babies, tied on their walking shoes and met up at Prince William Forest Park for the inaugural Humane Society of Northern Virginia (HSNV) / Advocates for Abused and Abandoned Pets (A3P) Pets 4 Life 1 & 5K walk/run event.

Tidal Basin Cares was the event’s “Top Dog” sponsor, but the real top dogs were the four-legged participants, from tiny Chihuahuas to big German Shepherds with curious noses and wagging tails, walking the trails to help shelter dogs find their forever homes.

All proceeds benefited the homeless pets of HSNV/A3P and supported their mission to care for and place homeless pets through fostering and adoption.
