About The 2023 National Hurricane Conference

The National Hurricane Conference is dedicated to improving hurricane preparedness, response, recovery, and mitigation to save lives and property in the United States and Caribbean and Pacific islands. In addition, the conference serves as a national forum for federal, state, and local officials to exchange ideas and recommend new policies to improve emergency management.

Who Should Attend

The Tidal Basin team will be in attendance among over 1,500 individuals from around the country. The National Hurricane Conference is the nation’s forum for education and professional training in hurricane and disaster preparedness providing insight on all major aspects of hurricane preparedness, response and recovery.
