We are excited to announce that Heather Stickler, Vice President of Marketing & Communications at Tidal Basin Group, recently joined the prestigious Forbes Communications Council. In late 2023, she received an invitation to join the council. After completing the qualification process by the Forbes Council’s review committee, she was selected to join the council based on her expertise and contributions to marketing and communications.

Who is Heather Stickler? 

Heather’s career spans over 29 years and is marked by significant achievements in marketing, communications, proposal and capture management, business development, project management, and more. Her prior background as a civil engineer focused on sustainable and resilient design and construction adds a unique dimension to her expertise. Her impact is further accentuated by her numerous honors and awards, such as the Built x Women (BxW) D.C. Award for her role as the project engineer in the development of a new affordable housing community in Washington, D.C. 

Throughout her career, Heather has developed integrated marketing and business development strategies that have reinforced brand propositions and been instrumental in thought leadership and lead generation campaigns. She has proven experience building and leading growth-minded marketing and communications operations with a focus on brand awareness and demand generation to increase market positioning and expansion of new and innovative solutions.

Acting as both a support system for internal customers and an agency for external clients, they ensure effective communication of the company and client missions to assist communities affected by catastrophic disasters.  

Heather holds a B.S. in Business Management and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and LEED Accredited Professional (LEED AP). Her affiliations with the CMO Council, American Marketing Association, Association of Proposal Management Professionals, Society of Marketing Professional Services, and other industry groups reflect her commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
