About the Hawaiʻi State Association of Counties Annual Conference
The Hawaiʻi State Association of Counties (HSAC) Annual Conference will take place from September 10-12, 2025, at the Westin Hapuna Beach Resort on the Kohala Coast of Hawaiʻi. Under the theme “Resilience,” this event will bring together leaders, policymakers, and community members to explore strength, adaptability, and sustainable solutions for the future of Hawaiʻi’s communities.
The conference begins with a golf tournament at the Mauna Lani Golf Course, sponsored by Tidal Basin. This event provides attendees a chance to network and relax before the main conference activities.
Attendees can participate in cultural activities such as He Moʻolelo no Koholālele, a storytelling journey into Hawaiian ancestral practices and arts like ulana niu (coconut weaving) and kaula (cordage making). These sessions provide a connection to Hawaiʻi’s cultural heritage while fostering discussions on resilience and sustainability.
