Palmetto General Hospital (Miami, Florida)

Tidal Basin delivered a large full-scale exercise that tested the hospital’s ability to meet a large surge of critical care patients in addition to the hospital’s ability to coordinate with their external partners such as the Hialeah fire department and other Miami-area hospitals.

University of Texas, MD Anderson Cancer Treatment & Research Hospital (Houston, Texas)

The Tidal Basin team was able to work with MD Anderson to recover millions of dollars of federal grant funding to reimburse the costs of emergency preparation undertaken before Hurricane Harvey made landfall and damage repairs after.

Community Hospital of Long Beach (Long Beach, California)

Tidal Basin provided disaster mitigation planning to Community Hospital that assisted in the development of a hazard mitigation grant application that would help in seismic retrofitting of the facility as required by state law.

Staten Island University Hospital – North Shore (Staten Island, New York)

Tidal Basin provided Hazard Mitigation Grant Program (HMGP) planning and FEMA Public Assistance (PA) grant support to the Staten Island University Hospital System following the devastating impacts of Super Storm Sandy.

New York University’s Langone Medical Center (NYULMC) (New York, New York)

Tidal Basin was contracted by NYULMC following Superstorm Sandy to support the FEMA PA process and to provide policy guidance to the Medical Center’s finance, purchasing, and supply chain management departments under Title 2 and Title 44 of the Code of Federal Regulations. Additionally, Tidal Basin coordinated and developed the NYULMC departmental emergency operations and continuity of operations plans and resource guides for every NYULMC department across multiple hospital campuses.
