We are pleased to announce the newest addition to the Tidal Basin family, Lea Price! She is the new Senior Director of Marketing for Tidal Basin supporting all non-federal marketing initiatives and working closely with the Executive Management, Business Units, BD/Capture, Corporate Communications, and Proposal Teams. Lea will report directly to Heather Stickler, Vice President of Marketing, and will be working remotely from her home in Maryland or in the Alexandria, VA office as needed for meetings, etc.
Lea brings more than 10 years of marketing experience with professional services firms. She has successfully implemented strategic marketing and communication programs, proposal win strategies and training, cross-selling processes and marketing training across multiple practice areas and global regions. Her holistic approach to integrating marketing solutions with operations, business development, capture and proposal initiatives creates the “glue” that brings all key stakeholders together to create effective marketing campaigns and growth strategies.
She joins us from Witt O’Brien’s, a national emergency and disaster management firm, where she led the marketing operations for their public sector practice. Prior to that, she worked for Jensen Hughes, a global leader in fire and life safety engineering and fire/catastrophic disaster forensic science. While working at both firms, she not only led marketing strategy and implementation, but she also supported strategic capture and proposal development. While at Jensen Hughes, she worked closely with the Offer Management team and led the commercialization of new products and service offerings to the marketplace.
Lea has a Bachelor of Science in Communications with a Minor in Marketing from Towson University in Baltimore, Maryland. She is an active member of marketing organizations, including the Society of Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) where she previously served as the Director of Education for the SMPS Maryland chapter, served as a committee member on the Programs Committee, and received the 2017 Rising Star award. Lea is also a young member of the Society of American Military Engineers (SAME).
Please join us in welcoming Lea to the Tidal Basin team! She can be reached at [email protected].
