About the project

The Jersey City/Newark Urban Area Security Initiative (UASI) partnered with Tidal Basin to develop a comprehensive preparedness training and awareness video program supporting public safety, emergency preparedness, and regional resilience. Serving one of the most densely populated regions in New Jersey, the initiative required engaging, accessible resources that could effectively communicate complex preparedness concepts to diverse audiences.

Tidal Basin provided end-to-end video production services, including strategy, scripting, filming, editing, voiceover coordination, captioning, and multilingual adaptation. Deliverables included an 8-part mass casualty incident hospital training series, 11 suspicious activity awareness videos tailored to key industries, and a program overview video highlighting UASI’s mission and partnerships. By combining emergency management expertise with in-house creative capabilities, Tidal Basin transformed critical preparedness information into practical training and outreach resources that support awareness, operational readiness, and public safety objectives across the region.
