Tidal Basin is pleased to announce that E. Scott Tezak, PE, has joined our team as Chief Operating Officer (COO). In his new role, Scott will lead our operational strategy, support business growth, and enhance our service delivery to clients. His leadership will be instrumental in advancing our mission to help communities and organizations prepare for, respond to, and recover from disasters.
Scott brings over three decades of distinguished experience in business leadership, strategic program management, and disaster response and recovery. His career began as an engineer supporting disaster response, including for 2 FEMA Urban Search & Rescue Teams and grew into program management and leadership roles on large-scale, complex initiatives for both public and private sector clients. He has been at the forefront of major disaster recovery efforts, demonstrating a deep commitment to building resilience and improving readiness at all levels.
His extensive background includes managing multi-billion-dollar programs and leading diverse teams toward achieving critical objectives. Scott’s expertise in engineering, infrastructure, and emergency management provides a unique and valuable perspective that aligns perfectly with Tidal Basin’s goals.
