We are proud to share that Kevin Bush, Grants and Program Management Practice Lead, will speak at the Multiplied Displacements: The Climate-Housing Nexus Conference, taking place January 15 to 17, 2026, at Tulane University. The international conference brings together researchers, practitioners, and public sector leaders to examine how housing systems and public policy respond to population movement following major hazard events.

Kevin will participate in the panel, “The Role of the U.S. Government in Shaping Sending and Receiving Zones.” The session will focus on how federal, state, and local policies influence both the communities people leave and the jurisdictions that receive displaced populations. Drawing on his experience supporting complex grant programs and large-scale resilience efforts, Kevin will discuss practical challenges and opportunities for improving coordination across levels of government.

The conference agenda centers on policy, planning, and implementation considerations that affect housing availability, community capacity, and long-term recovery outcomes. Kevin’s participation reflects Tidal Basin’s continued engagement in helping public sector clients navigate these issues through effective program management and policy alignment.
