About The New Jersey Emergency Preparedness Conference

Jared Beatrice serves as a Deputy Director of Engagement Management. With over a decade of experience in emergency management, Jared brings a wealth of knowledge and proven expertise in disaster recovery and crisis management.
Previously, Jared held roles that demonstrated his exceptional leadership skills, including Deputy Project Manager at Hagerty Consulting and various positions within the New Jersey State Police. Notably, Jared was instrumental in coordinating New Jersey’s emergency management response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Jared has a knack for turning complex information into expertly written procedures, maintaining an eagle-eye attention to detail. He has successfully managed multibillion-dollar recovery projects, delivering strategic goals on time and cost-efficiently. By identifying and implementing process improvements, he has consistently elevated team productivity and project efficiency.

Project Manager – Public Assistance
Location: Remote
Tidal Basin is seeking an experienced and dedicated Project Manager to lead disaster recovery initiatives under the FEMA Public Assistance program. This role demands strong leadership and project management skills, along with a deep understanding of emergency management activities, particularly in disaster recovery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage FEMA Public Assistance projects, ensuring timely and budget-conscious execution.
- Develop comprehensive project management plans and maintain accurate project documentation.
- Conduct damage assessments, assist in writing damage reports, and oversee Project Worksheet (PW) development for eligibility and cost estimations.
Qualifications:
