Sr. Director, Engagement Management
Peter Cavadini is Senior Director of Engagement Management at Tidal Basin. Peter is a disaster housing recovery expert specializing in long-term recovery. He has over 12 years of experience in disaster preparedness, response, and recovery including field work across the U.S. and internationally in Dominica, Ecuador, Malawi, and Nepal. Creative problem solver who is resilient in fast-paced and unstable environments.
Prior to joining Tidal Basin in 2021, Peter was the Chief of Staff at New York Disaster Interfaith Services.
The lion share of his professional experience is in developing and leading pilot programs. He has four years of executive experience and eight years of program management. Peter directed a portfolio of multiple and diverse programs across continents and in different phases of the disaster life cycle, while negotiating contracts and developing programs.
Peter received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Notre Dame.
