Michelle Dennison is a seasoned professional with over 20 years of experience in leadership, disaster recovery, and program management. With a strong background in strategic planning and compliance, Michelle has successfully led cross-functional teams and implemented initiatives that drive process improvement and deliver meaningful impact.

Currently serving as a Project Manager at Tidal Basin, Michelle oversees critical disaster recovery programs, including the Helene and Milton Non-Congregate Sheltering initiative. She ensures adherence to FEMA guidelines, manages project budgets and resources, and drives quality assurance to bridge sheltering gaps for disaster survivors effectively. Her leadership and meticulous program coordination help create sustainable solutions that support long-term recovery efforts.

Throughout her tenure at Tidal Basin, Michelle has held key roles, including Grant Manager and Program Lead, where she spearheaded vital housing and resource allocation programs for communities impacted by Hurricane Ian. Her ability to develop efficient workflows, optimize team performance, and collaborate with stakeholders has led to exemplary outcomes, including the successful allocation of billions in emergency rental assistance funds during her time as Deputy Program Manager.

A graduate of Trinity International University with a Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Leadership, Michelle also holds extensive FEMA certifications and real estate licensures, showcasing her commitment to lifelong learning and adaptability. Her comprehensive skill set, combined with her passion for helping communities rebuild and thrive, makes Michelle an invaluable contributor to Tidal Basin’s mission of fostering resilience and recovery.
