We are pleased to share several Tidal Basin employees recently received promotions.

Gordon, MBA, PMP, Tidal Basin’s Chief Strategy and Information Officer, was promoted to Senior Vice President. Melissa joined the organization in September 2019 and oversees the development of Tidal Basin’s corporate strategy, guiding the business units through strategic planning and confirming all processes remain aligned with the company’s overarching vision. Her role also includes leading the Information Technology department which is focused on optimizing the company’s use of technology and developing business partnerships to improve technology-enabled capabilities.

Sardelli, MBAwas recently promoted to Vice President and serves as the Project Finance Chief. Frank, who holds an MBA in Professional Accountancy, has been with the company since December 2013. Since then, he has been involved in all aspects of financial reporting, offering vital financial analysis and planning through the corporate procedures he has developed for Rising Phoenix, Tidal Basin, and Adjusters International. He oversaw all financial and budgeting processes for thePuerto Rico (Sheltering and Temporary Essential Power (STEP) Programand thePuerto Rico CDBG-DR Program Management Project, both of which provided financial resources for the unmet needs of displaced homeowners in Puerto Rico. He also served as the Project Manager for an audit relating to the Hurricane Sandy FEMA relief grant in New York State.

Her degree in mechanical engineering and extensive experience with multinational engineering and emergency management firms made her an incredible asset to our CDBG team. Since joining the company, she has led the teams who oversaw thePuerto Rico STEP Programcloseout and thePuerto Rico CDBG-DR Program Management Projectkickoff and numerous other key projects in USVI, California, Texas, andin Florida with the new Emergency Rental Assistance Program (ERAP).

Bill began with the firm in November 2012 as a Deputy Director, following his 20+ years in law enforcement where he supportedrescue and recovery efforts at Ground Zero after the September 11, 2001 World Trade Center terrorist attack, was selected by the New York State Office of Emergency Management as a member of the initial cadre of New York State’s Type II All-Hazards Incident Management Team (IMT), and served on FEMA Region II’s IMT. Since joining us in 2012, Bill has guided numerous clients through the recovery process with significant support provided in the states of New York, Hawaii, Alaska, Florida, and now California.

Ashleejoined Tidal Basinin October 2019 and is responsible for supporting our transportation, critical infrastructure, and government organization clients in developing their preparedness programs through planning, training and leading exercises, and other collaborative initiatives. Since joining the team, Ashlee has received herCertified Emergency Manager (CEM) designation, became acontributing faculty memberat the University of Applied Research & Development, and contributed to theAirport Cooperative Research Program Synthesis 115: Practices in Airport Emergency Plans.Tidal Basin is a leading emergency and disaster management consulting firm.
