Sage Franz has over 6 years of experience in mitigation project management, mitigation grants management, and data management. Sage was involved in the application development, monitoring, intake and processing of 1200+ subapplications seeking funding for the Superstorm Sandy DR-NY-4085-HMGP declaration and has been actively managing projects under DR-4085 the since 2015. Sage currently serves as Project Lead providing direct oversight of twenty-two (22) active projects totaling approximately $750 million for the duration of the HMA grant program lifecycle with responsibilities including supporting the state in ongoing policy, compliance, and programmatic coordination for each project.
Sage lives in South Carolina. On his free time he enjoys visiting family in Japan and Europe.
