As Tidal Basin’s Proposal Director, Dawne Berlinski manages the capture and proposal process in support of the firm’s strategic goals and pursuits. She brings over 20 years of experience in proposal content development and management to this position— and is skilled in capture management, strategy, process management, team leadership, proposal reviews and delivery, and budget planning.
Prior to joining Tidal Basin, Dawne supported A/E/C and professional consulting firms in New York City, New Jersey and Colorado managing proposals, developing presentations and interview materials, public speaking and interview training, and tradeshows, events and conferences planning. She previously presented on public speaking topics at two national Association of Proposal Management Professionals (APMP) conferences.
Dawne continues to lead proposal development efforts on projects ranging in scope from half a million dollars to over $1 billion. Her notable wins include disaster recovery infrastructure and housing programs stemming from Hurricanes Katrina, Sandy, Harvey, Irma and Maria.
While Dawne currently lives with her family in Colorado, she is a New Jersey native and attended college in the Mid-Hudson Valley. She is the mom of 22-year old twin girls, loves swimming, reading, trying new recipes and is an avid football fan. Her greatest pastime is spending as much time as she can with her granddaughter Zoie.
