As Tidal Basin’s Senior Director of Federal Marketing & Proposals, Dawne Berlinski manages the capture, marketing, and proposal process in support of the firm’s Federal business. As part of the Federal team Dawne works to grow this business using her skills in capture management, marketing, strategy, process management, team leadership, proposal reviews and delivery, and budget planning.
She brings over 20 years of experience in proposal content development, A/E/C and emergency management marketing, and management to this position. As a Federal services marketer, Dawne is experienced with the various procurement processes for FEMA, USACE, USAID, DOD, DHS, and other Federal and state agencies.
Prior to joining Tidal Basin, Dawne supported A/E/C and professional consulting firms in New York City, New Jersey and Colorado managing proposals, developing presentations and interview materials, public speaking and interview training, and tradeshows, events and conferences planning.
Dawne continues to lead proposal development efforts on projects ranging in scope from half a million dollars to over $1 billion. Her notable wins include disaster recovery infrastructure and housing programs stemming from hurricanes Katrina, Sandy, Harvey, Irma and Maria.
She is an active member of Society of Marketing Professionals (SMPS) and Association of Proposal Management Professional (APMP), holding an APMP certification.
While Dawne currently lives with her family in Colorado, she is a New Jersey native and attended Marist College in the Mid-Hudson Valley. She loves swimming, reading, trying new recipes and is an avid football fan. Her greatest pastime is spending as much time as she can with her granddaughter Zoie.
