Dana Johnston is the Director of Partnerships at Tidal Basin. Dana previously served as Associate Managing Director at another leading national emergency management firm where she supported all areas of disaster management for the public sector, with a focus on strategic regions and services by engaging clients, associations, and establishing partnerships at the city, county, and state levels.
Dana brings over 20 years of experience in client acquisition and management, marketing, capture, and proposal support, with more than seven years in the emergency and disaster management industry. She is very active and has established strong relationships with numerous national, regional, state, and local industry associations. She served a five-year term on the Resilient Counties Advisory Board at the National Association of Counties (NACo) and has presented at resilience sessions at conferences and meetings.
Dana utilizes an integrated approach to developing and growing business by engaging all key stakeholders, including business development, marketing, capture, proposals, and operations. She will be focusing on government client management, retention, and acquisition in the Eastern and Southeastern regions, while also assisting with other national relationships for the Tidal Basin team.
